Welcome

A few years ago, being an avid sewing enthusiast, I decided to make some bathing suits for my grandchildren. Bathing suits led to surfer shirts, bikini bottoms, coordinating skirts and tennis skirts and finally to comfy-wear.

Soon I discovered the need for unique and fashionable children's wear as my daughters friends began to ask where they could get the same outfits. So my journey began on a trip to Oregon, Los Angeles and New York City in search of fine Lycra/spandex fleece and cotton/lycra fabrics. I began to explore the world of handmade clothing and so MoesMonkeys was born.

Here are my designs, made from love and modeled by my own grandchildren.
